Theatre de Carouge opført i 2113 Desert Sand

Théâtre de Carouge

Type of project

Cultural Institution Carouge, Geneva

Brick used

2113 Desert Sand

Year of construction

2018

Théâtre de Carouge was built with a striking façade in 2113 Desert Sand, which gives the building its characteristic warm and textured appearance. The long, slender Roman brick highlights the sculptural geometry of the theatre, creating a calm, monolithic surface that elegantly complements the precise volumes of the building and the surrounding urban space. The material adds timelessness and tactility, firmly anchoring the architecture of the theatre within the neighbourhood and emphasising its simple, carefully crafted design.
